Dumpling Chef Cooks Up Dandenong Deal
Popular Chinese restaurant The Dumpling Chef has secured an industrial warehouse equipped for food production at Dandenong in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs for its growing business.
The Dumpling Chef’s operators have leased the food factory at 1/23 Egan Road, Dandenong, in a deal negotiated by Ryan Amler and Joshua Colosimo of Ray White Commercial Oakleigh.
Mr Amler said The Dumpling Chef, which has several restaurants located at Mill Park on Melbourne’s north side, Westfield Plenty Valley and Bayside Shopping Centre, had been seeking a centralised kitchen to prepare their highly sought after Chinese dumplings.
“This property offered a complete food premises with permit and extensive equipment all ready to go,” he said. “It was ideal for any food production business not wanting to invest in huge setup costs and was just what The Dumpling Chef’s operators were after.”
Mr Colosimo said the approximately 310 sqm property is located approximately 700m off Eastlink in a quiet industrial pocket.
“As well as the extensive fit out for food production, the warehouse features a 600 litre grease trap and 3 phase and 1 phase power points throughout,” he said. “There is also an approximately 32 sqm office as well as three car parking spaces.”
The Dumpling Chef has taken out a 3 + 3 year lease at net rental of $39,600 per annum plus GST and Outgoings
