Dandenong Retail Site Sold at Auction

Dandenong Retail Site Sold at Auction

A retail site with a residential property at the rear at Dandenong in Melbourne’s south-east has been sold at auction by Ray White Commercial Oakleigh.

The vacant property at 15 King George Parade, Dandenong, was sold under the hammer for $430,000 to an owner-occupier moving to Melbourne from Sydney by Paul Rizzo of Ray White Commercial Oakleigh on behalf of a local owner.

Paul Rizzo said the property had been on the market for the past three years with numerous agencies trying to sell privately without success.

“We took the property to auction and we had two bidders and sold the property under the hammer just over the vendor’s reserve,” he said.

Paul Rizzo said the property had previously operated as a milk bar/convenience store and was suitable for a variety of uses, subject to council approval.

“The total building area is approximately 170 sqm and includes an approximately 60 sqm shop with electric security shutters,” he said.

“There is internal and external access to the rear home which is perfectly maintained, comprising up to three bedrooms and a rear yard with a lock up garage.”
